Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy system with a microservices-based stack. You will implement automated test frameworks using Playwright and Cucumber, perform load and chaos testing, and contribute to CI/CD and Agile processes in a collaborative team environment.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years or a Master's with 7+ years, plus an active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 9+ years of experience or Master's with 7+ years; or equivalent
• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years)

Responsibilities

• Utilize a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Author tests using Cucumber and Playwright.
• Apply microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Conduct load, performance, chaos, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Deliver Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
