The role emphasizes implementing software with Java/C++ in Linux/UNIX environments, Python proficiency, and collaboration using Gitlab and Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5 years applied work.
• Experience developing complex software systems with processing-intensive analytics.
• Proven ability to test and review software components against design requirements.
• Proficiency in Java and/or C++ in Linux/UNIX development environments; Python experience required.
• Experience with Gitlab and Jira; familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and web/Cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop system requirements specifications.
• Incorporate new plans and designs into ongoing operations; develop architecture and design docs.
• Ensure technical integrity of work and deliverables within Systems Engineering scope.
• Create and review software components, test results, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate on design trade-offs, reusable software, and integration of COTS/GOTS where applicable.
