Persistent Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Cyber Software Engineer with extensive experience in C/C++ on Linux for embedded and application software on Wave Relay networks. You will join a team developing drivers, kernel modules, network stacks, and security components, including PKI and OpenSSL.

The role requires strong Linux expertise, PKI development, and the ability to obtain US security clearance. Base pay and comprehensive benefits are offered with rolling applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of C/C++ programming experience in a Linux environment.
• Deep knowledge of Wireless Networking specific to layer 2.
• OpenSSL programming experience in C and PKI development.
• Experience with Linux driver, Linux kernel, and kernel module development.
• Must have the ability to obtain a United States security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing low-level embedded software and hardware development for Wave Relay network.
• Developing software security solutions for Wave Relay products.
• Cross-platform implementation of security components targeting Linux OS.
• Socket programming and creating PKI frameworks within networking products.
• Programming OpenSSL frameworks in C for Wave Relay networking products.
