Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (ABET-accredited).
• 5–7 years of relevant embedded software experience.
• Strong background in high-level languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Rust for embedded software.
• Experience with Linux or VxWorks OS internals.
• Familiarity with BSP and hardware–software integration.
• Ability to configure firewalls for embedded systems.
• Experience with reverse engineering and software analysis.
• Exposure to full software lifecycle: architecture, requirements, OO development, unit testing, integration, and system testing.
• Proficiency with IDEs, version-control systems, defect-tracking tools, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of network protocols and interfaces (TCP/IP, UART, SPI, I2C).
• Capability to translate high-level customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with electrical line-replaceable units and hardware troubleshooting.
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.

• Produce and evaluate checkpoint and design‑milestone artifacts and CDRLs for technical accuracy and contract compliance.
