Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development for Cyber & Intelligence initiatives supporting national security missions. You will analyze requirements, design, code, review documentation, and coordinate software installation with teams across the program.

The role emphasizes software performance, complex algorithm design, and adherence to stringent security standards, with opportunities for leadership in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Candidate must possess an active US security clearance with a polygraph (updated within the past 7 years)

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and data usage; investigate problem areas.
