Job summary

Research Innovations Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Researcher to join our Cyber Security team in St. Petersburg, FL.

The role emphasizes automated and manual testing across Windows, Linux, and other platforms, with a focus on defense-grade software and customer acceptance testing. Applicants must hold an active Top Secret/SCI US clearance and have at least five years of software testing experience, including test planning, execution, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant software testing experience with systems integration and testing and test planning, development and execution.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux, including system configuration and some server management tools/commands.
• Experience scripting with Python, Bash, MS-DOS, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience leading customer-witnessed program acceptance testing.
• Proficiency with version control and bug tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Testing software in a group environment using modern techniques and processes.
• Verifying software deliverables meet requirements for functionality and performance.
• Creating test plans, test cases, test reports, and issue tickets.
• Performing formal, customer-witnessed acceptance tests.
• Developing and executing frontend/UI and backend tests, manual and automated.
