Job summary

Research Innovations Inc. (RII) is seeking a Senior Security Researcher/Software Test Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in St. Petersburg, FL. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and full-time employment.

You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, automate front-end and back-end tests, and mentor junior personnel while collaborating with leadership and development teams. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software testing experience in systems integration and test planning, development and execution.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux, with skills to modify system configuration and basic server tools.
• Experience leading customer-witnessed program acceptance testing and using version control and bug tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Test software in a team setting using modern processes (VCS, branching, merging, issue tracking).
• Verify that deliverables meet functionality and performance requirements.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, reports, and issue tickets.
• Develop and execute front-end/UI and back-end tests (manual and automated) for Windows, Linux, and other platforms.
• Communicate with program leadership and development teams daily.
• Mentor junior test personnel in test setup and execution.
