Job summary

BCore is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) in Herndon, VA for a TS/SCI with Poly role. The candidate will join a mission-focused team delivering RMF/ICD-503 based accreditation across multiple A&A efforts, coordinating with ISSMs, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure secure operations.

The ideal candidate has 11+ years in ISSE, strong RMF/ICD-503 experience, and the ability to bridge technical and security language.

Qualifications

• ISSE with 11+ years of experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degrees preferred in security disciplines
• Ability to bridge technical and security languages; proficient in RMF/ICD-503 documentation
• Experience guiding systems through A&A to ATO and continuous monitoring

Responsibilities

• Support RMF and ICD-503 accreditation for A&A efforts
• Coordinate with ISSM, Security Controls Assessor, and auditors
• Translate risk elements into POA&Ms and actionable plans
• Communicate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
