Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and data protection initiatives across the enterprise. You will evaluate and implement emerging security tech while coordinating risk management, threat detection, and compliance efforts.

The role involves leading PoCs for AI-driven security, managing security tooling, and guiding cross-functional response teams to protect enterprise assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience in cybersecurity and enterprise security operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of security technologies and governance practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead PoCs and adoption assessments for AI-driven security technologies and post-quantum cryptography.
• Support automated phishing detection and remediation initiatives.
• Implement and support security tools (Trend Micro, Sandfly IDS, Cylance, vulnerability scanners, ransomware response).
• Manage security incidents and SIEM-driven investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Drive data governance, SaaS security, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint/OneDrive security remediation.
• Collaborate with application teams to track vulnerabilities and mitigate risk on legacy platforms.
• Review and validate firewall rule requests with Network Security Engineering.
• Administer DNS Sinkhole Linux infrastructure to protect against malicious traffic.
• Support certificate lifecycle management, data classification, and cybersecurity compliance programs.
