Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer III to serve as a product liaison, ensuring security best practices across internal and external programs. You will interact with customers, support Army interoperability and FISMA activities, and drive security improvements with junior staff.

The role requires strong OS security knowledge, scripting ability, and experience with common security tooling to develop and certify secure products. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering/technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional related experience.
• High level understanding of OS security settings, configuration, policies (Windows, Red Hat or other Linux).
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Cyber Security Product point of contact at internal and external program level meetings and communicate security practices.
• Interface with internal and external customers to meet expectations.
• Support Army Interoperability Certification, ACA/SCA, FISMA and POA&M events.
• Identify and lead cyber security improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present cyber security work products to internal review teams and external customers.
