Freedom Technology Solutions Group in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to threats across systems, conduct security event correlation, and support continuous operations in a fast-paced environment to protect critical digital infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in information security, an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, and IAT Level II certifications such as GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years IT and/or cyber experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Systems Security or related cyber.
• Active IAT Level II certification such as GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and understanding of databases.
• Experience with COTS technologies and current Cybersecurity protocols used in CSOC.
• Experience working across teams to drive a security agenda and manage complex, intertwined systems.

Aufgaben

• Providing detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks, intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
• Characterizing and performing analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources.
• Performing security event and incident correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise.
• Executing cyber incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact while identifying specific vulnerabilities.
• Tracking and documenting cyber incidents from initial detection through final resolution and remediation.
• Analyzing and assessing damage to data and infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents and performing trend analysis.
• Operating in a 24x7 Shift Work environment to ensure complete and functioning systems meet all requirements.
