Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT/Cyber or related field with degree, or 10+ years with Master’s degree.
• 5+ years Cyber Security experience (threat hunting, IR, investigations).
• 5+ years using network security analysis/IDS tools.
• 5+ years analyzing packet capture and NetFlow data.
• 5+ years with malware knowledge, detection methods and vectors.
• Experience developing advanced dashboards (Kibana/Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Augment operational cyber analysts and act as a consultant for detection and threat hunting.
• Advise on data prep, tech implementation, visualizations, and analytics.
• Assess current cyber tool use and opportunities for improvements.
• Identify tools/processes to support needs and translate to requirements.
• Provide ad-hoc training to cyber analyst teams on tools.
• Identify training gaps and propose methods to improve use of tools and data.
• Participate in post-engagement review and communicate progress to leadership.
