Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Senior Data Mining and Analytics Engineer to support R&D of new cyber analytic capabilities for US networks. The role is primarily telework-based with occasional meetings at client locations in Arlington, VA or Pensacola, FL and at ICF facilities in the Washington, DC area.

You will design and optimize large-scale distributed computation platforms, manage teams, oversee service transitions, and develop data modeling procedures to support analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 10+ years in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Active security clearance and US citizenship are required by contract.
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling and large datasets using various data mining/analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform knowledge elicitation from customer experts to build analytic solutions.
• Design, engineer, and optimize large-scale distributed computation platforms.
• Manage teams of system administrators and prioritize critical problems.
• Oversee transition of services from vendors to analytic environments and train end users.
• Develop data modeling procedures to assist data mining, modeling, and production.
• Interpret results and communicate with non-technical customers.
