Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst in the United States to secure software within water infrastructure projects. You will focus on embedding security into the SDLC, threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices across cloud-native environments.

You will partner with engineering to fortify applications and infrastructure, lead incident response, and guide capability development for the security team. Travel may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Willingness to travel as required by duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom rules.
• Lead complex incident response and root cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and pen tests.
• Collaborate with IT and development to remediate vulnerabilities in the SDLC.
• Review security controls for regulatory compliance and drive remediation.
• Research threat actors and develop proactive defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team capability building.
• Support enterprise security strategies aligned with business goals.
