Job summary

Capital One’s Audit function seeks a Senior Associate to join the Tech Audit team. You will evaluate technology and cybersecurity risks, perform tests on cloud infrastructure and application controls, and communicate findings to management.

You will leverage data analytics to enhance audit coverage, build strong partnerships with business units, and deliver timely, high-quality audit conclusions in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in tech auditing, information technology, information security, information systems risk management, or a combination.
• At least 1 year of experience in analyzing data extracts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, including testing scripting or coding.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and ensure work is completed on schedule and to high quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and the Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics and tools during planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery.
• Proactively follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
