Job summary

Capital One is seeking an energetic Senior Associate for its Tech Audit team. You will evaluate technology and cybersecurity risks across cloud-based environments, applications, and third-party engagements, delivering independent insights and recommendations.

In this hybrid role, you will work with a collaborative Audit group, applying data analytics to tests and risk assessments to strengthen governance and controls, while contributing to professional growth within Capital One.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of tech auditing or information security experience.
• At least 1 year of data analysis on extracts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and the Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics during planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery.
• Proactively follow-up on agreed audit actions to ensure timely completion.
• Seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies.
