Job summary
CACI International Inc in Sterling, VA is seeking a Cyber Reverse Engineer to analyze and reverse engineer software binaries and embedded firmware across traditional and embedded systems.
You will perform static and dynamic analysis with tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, WinDbg and Binary Ninja, conduct protocol and vulnerability analysis, and draft clear technical reports for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI clearance.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in cyber reverse engineering.
- Experience reversing assembly binaries (x86/ARM) and embedded firmware.
- Proficiency with Python and Unix shell scripting for tooling.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reverse engineer software binaries and embedded firmware across systems.
- Conduct code review and vulnerability analysis to identify weaknesses and attack vectors.
- Perform protocol analysis of communication channels and document findings.
- Carry out static and dynamic analysis with IDA Pro, Ghidra, WinDbg, Binary Ninja and GDB.
- Draft technical reports and briefing materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Brief customers and capture findings in written, clear format.
