Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Global Cyber Risk Services to lead hands-on penetration testing and red team engagements across networks, apps, cloud, and identity environments. You will emulate adversaries, develop offensive tooling, and advise on security controls.

The role requires strong report writing, client communication, and leadership across engagements. You will work within a team that values practical, business-focused security outcomes, including AI-enabled systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent.
3–6 years of relevant offensive security experience preferred.
Active OSCP or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform hands-on penetration tests across networks, apps, cloud, and identity environments.
Plan and run red team and adversary emulation engagements per MITRE ATT&CK.
Develop tooling, scripts, and assets; mentor junior consultants.
Produce clear reports and executive readouts with remediation guidance.
Manage client communication, scoping, and engagement risk.
