Job summary

STR is looking for a Senior Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of cyber research and development programs from market to contract closeout. This role is based in our Woburn, MA office and requires strong leadership across technical, financial, and schedule performance to meet customer objectives.

You will coordinate with contracts, finance, security, and IT teams, manage risks, and drive successful execution with cross‑functional staff.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience including 4+ years in managing technical programs.
• Experience in DoD or IC project management and cost/schedule/technical performance.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams on advanced R&D programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage program technical, financial, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate with STR contracts, finance, security, and IT teams.
• Develop and track program milestones and risk, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Review metrics and communicate status to leadership and customers.
• Collaborate with subcontractors for smooth integration.
• Support staff planning, financial planning, recruiting, and onboarding.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal security and IT processes.
• Build strong customer relationships and open lines of communication.
