Job summary

Tharros seeks a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of cyber capability programs for a government client. The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate strategy into executable plans.

The successful candidate will hold an active TS/SCI with Poly, PMI PMP or PgMP, and at least 10 years of experience in managing portfolios, schedules, and related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• PMI PMP or PgMP certification required.
• ≥10 years of portfolio management experience.
• Experience running master schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong meeting coordination and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards for tracking and reporting programs and portfolios.
• Coordinate milestones and interdependencies across projects.
• Prepare and support presentations for portfolio status reviews.
• Advise on cyberspace capability requirements and CONPLAN/OPLAN alignment.
• Contribute to IPL and issue paper processes with timely documentation.
• Provide analysis and advocacy for cyber capability portfolio management.
