Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software or cyber operations
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and sustaining production software systems
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Go, Node.js, C#, Java, or C++
• Experience using AI/ML tools to accelerate development or enhance products
• Experience troubleshooting across software, OS, networking, virtualization, and hardware
• Experience configuring virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, KVM, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience integrating software with physical devices and IoT equipment
• Knowledge of secure engineering practices including authentication, encryption, and logging
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of secure, production-grade software capabilities.
• Build software in languages such as Python, Go, Node.js, or C# across front-end, back-end, and integration layers.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot physical and virtualized environments, including servers, endpoints, networking gear, and embedded devices.
• Integrate software with hardware systems, sensors, radios, industrial equipment, IoT, and edge technologies.
• Stand up and manage VMs, containers, and lab infrastructure to support development and demos.
• Design and implement APIs, distributed services, and system-to-system integrations.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices for reliable delivery.
• Communicate design decisions, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable patterns and standards.
• Support field testing, customer engagements, and technical demonstrations.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance.
• Travel as needed to customer sites, labs, and field activities.
