Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a security-focused professional to implement and operate next‑generation cyber defense tools for government and commercial clients in Maryland. You will engage in hands-on evaluation, deployment, and operation of security technologies, helping identify vulnerabilities and prioritize responses to protect critical networks.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, integration of large-scale security solutions, and support for national security missions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administration for Windows or Linux.
• Experience deploying or maintaining ForeScout CounterACT appliances.
• Experience with network engineering including AD, VLANs, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of multi-domain architectures including data center, WAN and LAN in virtualized environments.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance and willingness for a polygraph exam.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date.
• DoD 8570 CSSP-IS Certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with other teams and communicate security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including detection and correlation.
• Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments using big-data analytics and security events.
• Engineer solutions using networking, system administration, and Active Directory expertise.
• Serve as a technical resource for protecting data and networks.
