Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Cyber Operations Analyst to support a hybrid role from Fairfax, VA. The role emphasizes ACAS vulnerability management and Trellix endpoint security, coordinating remediation with technical teams and reporting to leadership for RMF and continuous monitoring.

The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years in cybersecurity, DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Hybrid work up to 3 days per week is expected based on mission needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with emphasis on vulnerability management and endpoint security.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance (active preferred).
• Experience with ACAS vulnerability management and Trellix/ePO.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational SME for ACAS vulnerability management and endpoint security.
• Operate and configure ACAS scans, targets, credentials, scheduling, and reporting; manage Trellix/ePO endpoints.
• Create, modify, and execute vulnerability scans based on requirements, DTOs, CVEs, and directives.
• Troubleshoot credentialed scanning, authentication failures, and coverage issues.
• Analyze vulnerability results to identify affected assets and coordinate remediation.
• Review and investigate endpoint security alerts and coordinate escalation to the SOC.
• Tune endpoint security policies to reduce false positives while maintaining protections.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and trend analyses for leadership and RMF.
• Maintain SOPs for vulnerability management and endpoint security.
