Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus 5 years of related experience.
• 8+ years of related experience acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of network architecture and topology.
• Knowledge of router/firewall/switch configurations.
• Experience evaluating systems against security controls and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training focus areas with supervisor and enter program for required training.
• Maintain DCDC certification in assigned technology areas and complete assessments.
• Keep certification requirements up to date with a minimum of 4 assessments per technology area per fiscal year.
• Utilize DCDC standard tools and methodologies for assessments.
• Stay informed on Air Force priorities to inform base selection for CORAs.
• Advocate access to enterprise assets to prepare for CORAs.
• Support daily assessment meetings and provide summaries to leadership.
• Complete assessment checklists and perform in-depth technical assessments of networks and security controls.
• Create detailed reports with remediation recommendations and document risk.
