Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a SME Cyber Network Analyst to join a fast-paced team. You will analyze, engineer, and troubleshoot complex network environments, supporting the integration of advanced cyber capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong practical understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls.
• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Ability to analyze complex network configurations and system dependencies.
• Python or similar scripting language for analysis and automation.
• Linux OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Windows system administration within enterprise networks.
• Experience building testing environments for network analysis.
• Ability to document architectures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps clearly.
• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network surveys to identify architectures, configurations, systems, and pathways.
• Build and maintain lab environments to reproduce configurations and test capabilities.
• Analyze and map complex networks, devices, routes, and dependencies.
• Translate cyber outputs into actionable network and operational context.
• Investigate network behavior and identify vulnerabilities or access paths.
• Perform packet, protocol, and traffic analysis to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs in lab and prod.
