Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Intelligence Analyst to support its Cybersecurity Operations Center and CISO team. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across classified and unclassified networks.

You'll develop and tune detection rules, build tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, security-focused environment. A TS clearance with SCI access is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with an Associate, or 5+ with a Bachelor's, 3+ with a Master's, or 1+ with a PhD.
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access and recent polygraph.
• Fluency in offensive cyber TTPs and defensive cyber operations.
• Proven Dev/Sec/Ops competency with coding, SIEM tuning, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber threat alerts on networks.
• Create and tune cyber threat detection rules across platforms.
• Conceptualize, build and integrate tools to improve cyber defense efficacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response and DevSecOps.
