Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Senior to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events. Focus is on post-incident response, assessing impacted data, and coordinating remediation and stakeholder communications.

You will work with cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and compliance to manage investigations and client reporting, while guiding junior staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy or cybersecurity consulting.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities and incident response; ability to digest threat intelligence.
• Understanding of electronic discovery legalities.
• Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations across jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel; able to work beyond standard hours; access to reliable transportation.
• Driver's license recommended for travel to EY offices and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements from containment through remediation.
• Analyze impacted data sets to determine exposure of sensitive information.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, forensic, compliance and client stakeholders.
• Guide clients on notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Perform data review, impact assessments, and support decision-making for affected individuals and organizations.
• Contribute to remediation planning and process improvements.
