Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced senior for post-incident response, guiding clients through data impact, regulatory considerations, and remediation activities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholder communications to manage security events end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy consulting, cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
• Basic understanding of electronic discovery and analysis.
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations and reporting obligations across jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
• Access to reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements on cyber incidents, data breaches, and security events.
• Assess impacted data and regulatory obligations post-incident.
• Coordinate remediation activities and stakeholder communications.
• Support notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Conduct data reviews, impact assessments, and decision support for affected individuals and organizations.
• Contribute to remediation planning and process improvements.
