Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Senior Cyber Incident Response Analyst to join our team in McLean, VA. The role supports 24x7x365 coverage to protect mission-critical infrastructure, with a fixed 4-day work week of 10-hour shifts across Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday.

New hires must complete six weeks of day-shift training; responsibilities include leading detection and monitoring, deep-dive investigations, rapid incident response, threat intelligence integration, and maintaining incident

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 7+ years in a cyber security related role.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT-II certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, and response methodologies.
• Experience with operating systems, network protocols and enterprise security technologies.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response best practices.
• Ability to conduct log analysis and correlate data from multiple platforms.
• Ability to translate technical findings into executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead detection and continuous monitoring of security incidents across diverse networks.
• Perform deep-dive analysis and investigations to determine root causes and impact.
• Execute rapid incident response and mitigation to contain threats and restore operations.
• Integrate threat intelligence and vulnerability data to defend against risks.
• Maintain reporting and documentation for all security events for compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine incident response playbooks.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts during high-pressure cycles.
