Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of technology experience.
• Minimum 3 years' cybersecurity experience in SIEM administration.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel, including analytics rules, hunting queries, workbooks and automation.
• Strong proficiency with KQL for threat hunting, detection logic and telemetry analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC as escalation point for SIEM content and security concerns.
• Develop and tune detection rules and playbooks with Microsoft Sentinel/Defender.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Engineering teams.
• Create and maintain dashboards, notebooks, and Logic Apps for detection engineering.
• Support reporting on threat detection outcomes and operational insights.
