Job summary

Everfox is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to support a dedicated customer site in the DC area as part of the professional services engineering team. The role demands hands-on expertise, independent troubleshooting, and clear communication with customers and leadership.

You will support endpoint security solutions (HBSS, Tanium, Digital Guardian) and ensure stability, security, and performance of Everfox appliances and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS with SCI eligibility within two years from last use.
• DoD 8140 IAT II or higher certification required.
• Experience with Windows and RHEL 8.x installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong collaboration with product support and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains Windows and RHEL 8.x OS for Everfox appliances (physical and virtual).
• Manages ESXi or Hyper‑V hosts and virtual environments.
• Monitors performance and troubleshoots issues onsite at customer sites.
• Remediates security vulnerabilities per STIGs or scan reports.
• Performs firmware updates on DellEMC/HPE hardware and network components.
• Provides first-line support with government and contractor personnel.
• Maintains health checks for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana.
• Communicates activity summaries with customers and management.
