Job summary

WAHVE seeks an experienced Underwriter – Cyber / E&O to work from home. Roles involve underwriting cyber and E&O lines for carriers, MGAs, or wholesale brokers, with full or part-time options and benefits.

Qualifications

25 years of full-time work experience.
10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience.
Recent exposure to Cyber and/or E&O underwriting.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal Cyber, Tech E&O, Privacy/Security Liability, and misc. E&O business.
Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage, and pricing.
Monitor cyber/tech industry developments to keep policies current and competitive.
Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
Maintain accurate file documentation per guidelines.
Achieve acceptable underwriting profit within the assigned book.
Surplus Lines Cyber underwriting experience considered.
