Cherokee Federal is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist III to support a government customer in Springfield, VA. The role is on-site and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility to work as a U.S. citizen.

Starting salary range is $110,000–$118,000. The position reports to the Program Manager and emphasizes information systems security, policies, and incident response in a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must meet one of the following education/experience combinations.
• Prolonged periods of desk work; ability to work in climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates and manages information systems security for data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
• Implements and monitors security measures for networks and advises on security standards and government requirements.
• Develops and executes security policies and plans; designs network security measures; operates security tools and conducts incident analysis.
• Supervises operation of security systems and PKI/Key management.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
