Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a cybersecurity professional to support USSTRATCOM missions at Offutt AFB, NE. You’ll focus on forensics, threat analysis and incident response across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments, providing critical defense IT services.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical training, certifications, or degree (equivalent experience may substitute).
• Experience: 3+ years in cybersecurity, digital forensics, or information security.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundations v4 or ability to obtain within 9 months.
• Clearance: Current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment of digital information, systems, and artifacts to identify indicators of compromise and intrusion activity across USSTRATCOM environments.
• Gather, preserve, and handle digital evidence to support investigations and mission requirements.
• Report on cyber threats, security breaches, and anomalous activity across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR networks.
• Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations to strengthen security posture.
• Support incident response activities including triage, containment, remediation, and documentation.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards, and hardening techniques to safeguard mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and program teams.
