Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) professional in Houston to lead monitoring, detection, and response efforts across a broad security stack. You will implement new data sources, refine monitoring content, and drive continuous improvements to protect critical infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineering and security teams, oversee change management, and ensure effective deployment of defense technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of cyber security experience.
• 5+ years in cyber security vulnerability assessments or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and security architectures.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and digital product development.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate new data sources into SIEM and develop monitoring content.
• Monitor SIEM performance and optimize security tooling.
• Administer cyber defense applications and systems (EDR, cloud, email, SIEM).
• Provide log and monitoring design services and resolve tool conflicts.
• Deliver security advisory services and risk-based guidance.
• Support protection of critical cyber infrastructure and resources.
• Oversee SOC release and change management processes.
• Ensure availability of threat and vulnerability management technologies.
