Constellation Energy Corporation seeks an experienced Cyber Security Operations Engineer to maintain and operate the CSOC, develop content for monitoring, and deliver effective security advisory services. You will deploy, test, and administer security infrastructure, enabling performance against key metrics across monitoring, incident handling, forensics, threat intelligence, and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; 9+ years if no degree.
• 5+ years of cyber security vulnerability assessments experience or equivalent.
• Core competencies include SIEM, EDR, Microsoft security suite, Linux, Palo Alto.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and digital product development.
• Knowledge of network services and protocols for communications.
• Security principles such as Threat Lifecycle Management and Incident Management.
• Knowledge of Cyber SOC processes and Cyber SOC engineering.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP) and directory services (DNS, Active Directory).
• Knowledge of network traffic analysis methods; familiarity with Wireshark.
• Experience with cyber defense tools and security architecture.

Responsabilités

• Deploy and monitor data sources into SIEM and develop initial monitoring content.
• Monitor SIEM infrastructure performance and security monitoring.
• Operate and maintain cyber defense applications and systems (EDR, Cloud security, SIEM, appliances).
• Provide log and monitoring design services and resolve conflicts with tool testing and optimization.
• Provide Security Advisory Services.
• Identify and protect critical cyber defense infrastructure and resources.
• Lead SOC release and change management activities.
• Ensure availability of threat & vulnerability management technologies.
