Job summary

Relativity is seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Engineer to secure Relativity’s network and infrastructure in a hybrid role in the United States. You will investigate threats, analyze logs, and provide remediation guidance while collaborating with cyber experts to mitigate evolving threats. A U.S.

citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required. Responsibilities include triage of alerts, incident escalation, and ongoing research of threats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in incident response, security operations centre, incident analysis, or computer forensics.
• Strong cyber incident response skills (e.g., network forensics, memory forensics, and/or packet analysis).
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, network services, cryptography and web application attacks.
• Ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team to execute on high-level objectives and mature Relativity’s security posture.
• Understanding of attacker techniques and mitigating controls.

Responsibilities

• Review, validation, and triage of alerts and technical analysis of log data from sensors, signature logic, and threat intel sources.
• Assess impact of security events using host, cloud, and network indicators to deliver actionable incident escalations.
• Act as the initial point of escalation for cyber security events and drive investigation to completion.
• Perform near real-time analysis of logs and alerts from multiple devices focusing on event classification as security incidents.
• Proactively search through telemetry to detect and isolate advanced threats evading existing solutions.
• Assist in developing incident handling policies to align with global industry standards.
• Engage in continuous research of emerging threats and apply countermeasures in a changing environment.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in observed malicious activity and analysis.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members in detection engineering and tuning of alerting.
• Maintain security tooling configurations and ensure updates are applied.
• Assist on projects as required.
