Job summary

MANTECH in Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join as part of the CSOC, defending mission-critical systems through expert incident response and malware detection. You will lead security operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure ongoing monitoring and rapid response to cyber threats in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years of alternate cyber experience), 5+ years of cybersecurity work, and active IAT Level II

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 4+ years of cyber experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with incident response and malware detection.
• Active IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support CSOC activities to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber incidents.
• Analyze security events from multiple sources to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Triage cyber incidents to assess scope, urgency, and impact, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Track incidents from detection to resolution and document lessons learned for improvement.
• Support 24x7 mission operations and collaborate with IT, engineering, and management.
