Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Counterintelligence Threat Technical Analyst in Springfield, VA to provide expert threat analysis and cyber defense support for sponsor missions. You will leverage a strong technical background to produce reports, forecasts, and recommended mitigations while working within DoD IA guidelines.

The role requires identifying network artifacts, performing malware and threat analyses, and translating stakeholder needs into actionable technical requirements, with an active TS/SCI

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in Network Analysis.
• A Bachelor’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience and a Master’s degree can substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Experience identifying, deciphering, and understanding network artifacts.
• Ability to possess or obtain DoD 8570.01-M IA IATIII certification within one calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the completion of accurate and timely reports aligned with SOPs.
• Provide written and technical analysis to support forensic reports and CI cyber inquiries.
• Detect anomalous network activity through data/log analysis and IDS evaluation.
• Perform threat analysis, generate forecasts, and recommend countermeasures.
• Investigate malicious code to determine attack vectors and damage extent.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and document best practices.
