Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Cyber Claims Specialist to manage a caseload of complex casualty claims arising from cyber events, including third-party bodily injury, property damage, and related liability exposures. You will ensure accurate claim handling and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities include coverage analysis, lifecycle management, collaboration with underwriting, legal, risk engineering, and external counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years handling casualty claims, cyber liability claims, or complex third-party liability claims.
• Strong coverage analysis, liability evaluation, and claims resolution skills.
• Experience with cyber-triggered casualty losses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of casualty claims arising from cyber events, including coverage analysis and damages evaluation.
• Interpret and apply policy language to determine coverage and exposures.
• Oversee claims lifecycle from reserving to resolution within authority.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and risk engineering teams.
• Retain and manage external defense counsel and vendors as needed.
• Evaluate litigation exposure and develop resolution strategies.
• Ensure accurate claim documentation and system updates.
• Monitor claim trends and provide insights to management.
• Participate in broker and client claim discussions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and audit guidelines.
