Allied World Assurance Company in Farmington, WI is seeking an experienced cyber liability claims professional to manage a vigorous workload, analyze coverage, draft positions, and guide litigation with insureds, brokers, defense counsel, and other parties.

You will collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial, operations and technology, prepare summaries, meet clients and brokers, and contribute to a proactive claims program with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cyber liability claims handling or related legal experience.
• Four-year college degree required; law degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cyber/technology claims and coverage issues.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet research and typing.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage a vigorous load of cyber liability claims and analyze coverage.
• Draft accurate and timely coverage positions and manage litigation with insureds, brokers and defense counsel.
• Establish reserves and report claim developments to management.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial, operations and technology on projects.
• Prepare claim summaries and meet with clients and brokers; attend industry conferences.
