Job summary

EY is seeking a Cyber AI Engineer (Senior Consultant) to help clients apply frontier AI cyber models from prototype to production. You will build AI workflows, collaborate with client security and engineering teams, and contribute to architecture, demos, and reusable components.

The role emphasizes secure engineering practices, delivery excellence, and cross-functional engagement across EY’s Cyber AI practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering and AI/ML deployment experience.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
• Deploy frontier AI models or LLM applications for cybersecurity.
• Build agents, model tool integrations, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
• Security operations, threat investigation, detection engineering, or incident automation.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code for AI services.
• Cloud engineering and secure AI deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• API integration with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, or code security tools.
• Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, and OWASP/top-10 safeguards for LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy AI workflows for threat investigation, detection, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
• Create evaluation datasets, test harnesses, and document deployment findings.
• Own assigned technical deliverables, estimate tasks, and report progress to leaders.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, pair programming, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with model providers and researchers to test capabilities and demonstrate value.
• Develop reusable components, evaluation suites, and delivery playbooks.
