Job summary

EY's Cyber AI practice is seeking a Cyber AI Engineer at the Senior Consultant level to advance frontier AI solutions for client security challenges. You will deploy AI workflows from prototype to production, collaborating with engagement leaders and client teams.

You'll own technical deliverables, contribute to architecture, and work with model providers to test capabilities, deliver demonstrations, and help shape deployment playbooks while maintaining secure engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing and production delivery.
• Experience deploying frontier AI models or LLM applications for cybersecurity.
• Experience building agents, model tool integrations, retrieval pipelines and evaluation harnesses.
• Security operations, threat investigation, detection engineering, or incident response automation.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers and infrastructure-as-code for AI services.
• Cloud engineering and secure AI deployment on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• API integration with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability mgmt or code security platforms.
• Understanding of prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use and safeguards per OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy AI workflows for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
• Own assigned technical deliverables and communicate progress to engagement leaders.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting.
• Test cyber capabilities with model providers and researchers, document deployment findings.
• Develop demonstrations, proposals, reusable components, and delivery playbooks.
