Job summary

EY is seeking a Cyber AI Engineer at the Senior Consultant level to drive forward-deployed AI solutions across client engagements. You will build, evaluate, and deploy AI workflows from prototype to production, collaborating with EY's cybersecurity and AI teams.

You will own technical deliverables, estimate tasks, and communicate progress and risks to engagement leaders while advancing architecture, testing, and secure integration practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years' hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, Git, automated testing, and production delivery.
• Experience deploying frontier AI models or LLM applications for cybersecurity.
• Experience building agents, model tool integrations, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
• Understand prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool use, and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
• Knowledge of secure AI operations, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Experience in client-facing delivery from requirements through deployment.
• Strong writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy AI workflows for threat investigation, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation support.
• Use retrieval, tool calling, and structured outputs; build evaluation datasets and test harnesses.
• Own assigned technical deliverables, estimate tasks, and report to engagement leaders.
• Contribute to architecture, pair programming, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with model providers and researchers to test cyber capabilities and document findings.
• Contribute to demos, proposals, reusable components, and delivery playbooks.
