Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to lead DoD cybersecurity programs, RMF implementation, and CDS initiatives in a high‑impact government environment.

You will develop briefs for senior leadership, manage mixed contractor-government teams, and ensure compliance with DoD security requirements while advancing defense IT architectures. The role emphasizes cross-domain collaboration, policy development, and executive communication, with a focus on protecting critical mission

Qualifications

• 12+ years of DoW staff or cybersecurity experience
• 4+ years crafting DoW-level policies
• 8+ years related experience plus Master’s degree OR 12 years related experience plus Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Review DoW IT cybersecurity postures leveraging standards and regulations
• Provide Subject Matter Expert for Cross Domain Solutions including Cloud CDS
• Manage the DoW Scorecard for CDS and create briefs for leadership
• Prepare briefs for the Defense IA/Security Accreditation Working Group meetings
• Support DoW CIO for cybersecurity operations, RMF implementation and regulatory compliance
• Develop and refine Congressional reports and related policy memos
