Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced Special Procedure Tech II CVIR for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will support interventional physicians in all CVIR procedures, assist with contrast administration, and maintain safety and age-appropriate patient care.

The role requires flexibility for on‑call shifts and participation in new procedure evaluations. You must graduate from an AMA/JRCERT Radiography program or accredited cardiovascular program with 1 year imaging

Qualifications

Graduate of AMA/JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography or completion of an accredited cardiovascular program.
1 year of diagnostic imaging experience required (e.g., Radiology tech/ Diagnostic Technologist).
Current ARRT Certification or RCIS Certification.
Current Maryland Board of Physicians Licensed Radiographer or RCIS certification.
BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS required within 1 year).
Active American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with peers, physicians and staff to deliver quality patient care and service.
Assist Interventional Physicians in CVIR procedures using interventional tools.
Demonstrate knowledge of contrast administration/contraindications and adverse reactions plan.
Provide care appropriate to the patient age and maintain a safe environment.
Maintain flexible schedule and on‑call coverage during off hours.
Participate in new product evaluations and learn new procedures with peers.
