Job summary

Entegris in Austin leads a focused group of New Product Development engineers and scientists to design first-of-a-kind DoEs and interpret analytical datasets. You will coordinate work with internal and external customers and drive technical recommendations based on results.

The role requires a PhD/MS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry and 3–5 years in CVD/ALD precursor applications, plus demonstrated managerial experience.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry with 3–5 yrs in CVD/ALD precursor applications.
• Demonstrated managerial experience is required.
• Working knowledge of vapor pressure and solid delivery for CVD/ALD equipment.
• Experience with characterization techniques such as IR/Raman/NMR, ICP/MS, GC, microscopy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of New Product Development engineers and scientists; develop first-of-a-kind DoEs; oversee data collection, storage, and interpretation.
• Coordinate the team’s work with internal and external customers.
• Design and oversee precursor delivery test equipment including in-situ monitoring and sample collection.
• Oversee materials compatibility test equipment and analysis related to stability of components.
• Review post-service data from vessels; identify trends and suggest hardware design improvements.
