Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Scientist/Associate Director Medical Scientist to serve as a field-based scientific resource for healthcare providers and investigators.

This role focuses on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure, with cross-functional collaboration across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial. The role requires advanced clinical or scientific credentials and experience in CV MSL activities, with travel and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Analytical and articulate in oral and written communications with external stakeholders and internal teams.
• Ability to travel domestically 30–50% and internationally on occasion.
• Familiar with PhRMA Code Standards, FDA regulations, ACCME standards, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory strategic plan and engage national, regional, and local KOLs in scientific exchange.
• Maintain and expand relationships with HCPs to grow research, advisory, and educational partnerships.
• Represent Cytokinetics at major medical conferences and investigator meetings; support medical information and education initiatives.
• Provide scientific expertise to support trial investigators, registries, and external collaborations.
