Job summary

Edgewise Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a scientific resource in cardiology, focusing on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. This field-based role emphasizes engaging with KOLs and healthcare professionals to bridge cutting-edge science and clinical practice.

You will support clinical trials, advisory boards, and educational initiatives, while collaborating with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and Pharmacovigilance teams

Qualifications

• Accredited doctorate in life sciences (Pharm.D./D.Sc./D.N.P./Ph.D./M.D./D.O.) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years as an MSL or related field medical/scientific role in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in cardiology or rare diseases, preferably related to HCM and heart failure.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with KOLs and HCPs in academic and community settings.
• Understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific expert in cardiology (HCM and heart failure) engaging with KOLs and HCPs.
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs in academic centers and community practices.
• Provide timely, fair-balanced scientific information in response to inquiries.
• Support clinical trials by site identification, patient recruitment strategies, and liaison with sites.
• Prepare, facilitate, and support advisory boards with scientific input.
• Attend congresses to gather and disseminate scientific information; staff booths as needed.
• Deliver internal and external scientific presentations to support education and training.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and Pharmacovigilance.
• Gather and disseminate medical insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
• Manage assigned territory to optimize engagement and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
