Job summary

Container Graphics Corp. in Georgia seeks a Cutting Die Supervisor to lead the die department, coordinate workflow, and ensure on-time, quality production.

You will coach Diemakers, train new hires, and collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize schedules and drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of die manufacturing processes, and the ability to read CAD drawings and production documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience manufacturing cutting dies or related field.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and production docs.
• Experience with CAD files, automated die production equipment, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Cutting Die department to meet production schedules.
• Assign work and balance workloads among Diemakers.
• Provide hands-on coaching, training, and technical support.
• Train new employees on SOPs, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assist in scheduling and prioritizing workflows to reduce bottlenecks.
• Ensure dies meet quality standards before moving to next operation or shipping.
• Troubleshoot production issues with Eng and Prod Mgmt.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
